Christopher Brantley serves as Creative Director of Strategic Marketing Resources, Inc. (SMR), where he directs branding, website, and social media strategy across the firm's portfolio of nonprofit, business, and individual clients. For nearly a decade, he has been the steady hand behind SMR's creative output — managing vendor partnerships, client relationships, and the day-to-day execution that keeps projects on track from concept to launch.
His path to that role was built on a first career in broadcast journalism, where he worked as a Multimedia Journalist, News Anchor and Bureau Chief for WWSB ABC 7. There, he covered stories ranging from hurricane aftermaths to an embedded feature at Parris Island, and produced long-form, "60 Minutes" style pieces — experience that sharpened the instinct for storytelling and audience attention he now brings to client work. He holds a Certification in Television Production from Suncoast Technical College.
Christopher's leadership extends beyond SMR: he is the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of TeamUP Volunteer & Partnership Council, and serves on the board of Digital Video Technology at Suncoast Technical College.
He remains a trusted contributor to national and international news programs, called on for analysis during breaking news events — a role that reflects the same composure under pressure that has defined his career from the newsroom to the boardroom.
